Sri Thulasi Dhama Vrudhasramam

Sri Thulasidhama Vrudhashramam was founded on 2nd October 2003, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Gandhiji Jayanthi, as a response to the dire need for shelter and care for destitute elderly individuals in the backward region of Madakasira Mandal, Anantapur District, Andhra Pradesh. Initiated by the noble vision and divine inspiration of Sri Thimmappa, then Sarpanch of Chatram village, the ashram began with limited donations from local philanthropists. Over time, the number of residents has grown to 72, each finding a home filled with compassion, discipline, and spiritual harmony. Despite limited resources, the ashram offers daily prayer and meditation sessions, nutritious meals, and a structured routine that nurtures both physical and mental well-being for its elderly inmates.
